What services do you offer?

Dream Cannon offers a range of editing services, including developmental (or structural) editing, line editing, and copyediting, for both fiction and non-fiction books. View our full list of services here.

What genres do you specialise in?

While Matt specialises in speculative fiction (fantasy, science fiction, and so on), he doesn’t limit himself to a specific genre. He has always read widely and will consider any project.

Matt also has extensive experience developing and editing books in the non-fiction space, with a skill set that includes ghostwriting.

How much does editing cost?

The cost of editing varies depending on the type of edit required and the state of your manuscript. To assess your editing needs, Matt provides a complimentary manuscript assessment, focusing on the first 4,000 words.

He understands that cost can be a huge barrier for indie authors, so he aims to make his services as accessible as possible while still keeping the lights on and the fridge stocked.
